About the database
The #EndReprisals Database was developed by the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR) with support from HURIDOCS. It compiles cases or situations of intimidation and reprisals documented by the United Nations Secretary-General (UNSG) since 2010. Each year the Secretary-General prepares a report that documents acts of intimidation and reprisals aimed at creating fear or blocking access to the United Nations of people who defend human rights.
ISHR’s #EndReprisals Database makes it easier to navigate the information contained in the UNSG’s reports and provides research, analysis and more information on how to take action on the cases or situations.
